Off-Season (Summer) Hours
BIG ARTS Center Box Office, Gift Shop and Administrative Office hours are 9 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday, from May through October.
During the sunmmer the Herb Strauss Theater Box Office opens one hour prior to show.
Locations
BIG ARTS Center (BAC) is located at 900 Dunlop Road, Sanibel, Florida, between City Hall and the Historical Museum.
Herb Strauss Theater (HST), is located at 2200 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel, the Box Office opens one hour prior to the show.
Event Parking:
Parking is available in the BAC lot adjacent to the Historical Village and Museum, the City Hall lot, the Sanibel Library lots, and the north end of St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church lot (entrance off Dunlop Road). HST has on-site parking.
Series Ticket Purchases:
Any one person purchasing one or more tickets for each of nine different BIG ARTS Music, Dance, or Live Theater productions at
one time will receive a 15% discount. This discount does not include programs which have their own series prices.
HST Subscription pricing:
Subscription of six shows: $198
Subscription of three shows: $108
Please specify your show choices when ordering tickets.
Seating:
Schein Performance Hall loge seating will be available after series holders are assigned, based on the date the order forms are
received (subject to availability).
Herb Strauss Theater seating will be available after subscription holders are assigned, based on the date the order forms are received (subject to availability).
Loge Pricing:
Loge seating for many of the Music and Dance concerts is $5 more than floor seating and will be reserved. This applies to all patrons, both members and nonmembers.
Please note that some programs are general admission.
Student (with Student ID) and Child:
Reduced price for Student/Child 16 and under (when accompanied by paying adult) to HST performances.
Student/Child pricing eligible for:
1. Schein Hall events series discount
2. Loge seating when accompanied by paying adult
All patrons, regardless of age, must have a ticket to be admitted into the performance hall.
For Your Comfort:
The temperature in our venues varies due to stage lighting and air conditioning. Please consider bringing an additional layer, jacket, or sweater.
Last Minute Cancellations:
If you find that you can’t use your ticket on the date of the performance, PLEASE call and let us know as early as possible. We can accept your ticket as a donation to BIG ARTS and issue a letter for tax purposes.

If you have special needs please contact BIG ARTS Marks Box Office at (239) 395-0900 or HST Box Office at (239) 472-6862, so reasonable efforts can be made to accommodate you. Accessible seating for people with disabilities is available for all events on a first-come, first-served basis. Be sure to mention your interest in wheelchair accessible seating when placing your ticket order. There are wheelchair-accessible ramps into both Schein Performance Hall and Herb Strauss Theater.
Group Sales:
Groups may be eligible for group discounts to select shows. For more information contact the BIG ARTS office (239) 395-0900.
Smoking:
All BIG ARTS facilities are completely smoke-free.
Latecomers:
Schein Performance Hall and HST open approximately 30 minutes prior to curtain. Latecomers will be seated at discretion of management. In the case of a sold-out event, BIG ARTS reserves the right to re-sell seats unclaimed at curtain time.
